The students’ educational experience at CSC encourages them to explore, grow and flourish. The learning experience goes beyond the classroom as it includes a dedicated and diverse co-curricular programme. We look to nurture every student into a self-reflecting, inquisitive, problem solving, and resourceful young adult that will be able to cope with the demands of the ever-changing global setup. The valuable activities on offer develop leadership skills, self-confidence, gifts and talents, cultural appreciation and a strong portfolio of experience for further education and employment.
At CSC, the career counsellor:
- supports the student’s goals
- helps develop a plan to be able to achieve the set goals
- works closely with students when it comes to…WHERE NEXT?
- assists and supports students in applications, personal statements, CVs, and resumes.
- administers personality and interest quizzes.
Students learn more about self and careers associated with their personality and interests are exposed to them.
v explore courses and educational programs needed for particular careers.
All students in Years 12 and 13 benefit from 1:1 advice and support from the career counsellor in relation to university applications, UCAS applications and Common App.
Personal statement preparation and interview practice is also provided.
